This room was originally appointed by the London design team from Colefax and Fowler back in the early 1980’s. The act of closing and opening up the island home every year eventually led to crumbling plaster and a room in disrepair. That is when my client asked we make it like it was! All the hand-painted mural paper was removed and walls were repaired and relined with a new synthetic canvas that will help withstand the islands brutal conditions.
