Peter Walls was born in Rochester, New York in 1970 and has a BFA from NYSCC at Alfred University and a MFA from LSU-Baton Rouge. Peter moved to Maine in 2016. As a Maine Artist he collaborates on private and public projects, including murals, throughout New England as well as being an exhibiting studio Artist for the past 29 years.

Enchanted by the Maine landscape Peter is known for his shaped panel paintings and murals. His unique style and use of color draws you into his world and lets you meditate on and reconsider the importance of the natural world.

His recently completed solo exhibition at The Zillman Art Museum in Bangor, Maine allowed him to create large scale, mural scale, paintings that truly allow you to step into the Maine landscape. This work can now be experienced at Blue Raven Gallery in Rockland, Maine.
